The film is set in Chennai but is about the people living in the outskirts of Chennai who travel for more than 30 km to reach Chennai and travel using the share autos.
Dileepan plays a share auto driver and Anjali plays a tough girl, who travels using these share autos. She plays a middle class girl Meena who changes her name as Leena and roams around in the city malls and coffee shops, pretending as if leading a higher lifestyle than what she actually does. The film also sees Vatsan of Thalapathy Anthem fame in a pivotal role.
