Iyer in Pakistan Malayalam Movie

Raghuraman is an employee in a new generation bank in Kochi. A simple Brahmin from Palaghat, Raghuraman is a calm and quiet guy with no bad friendships and habits. On all Saturdays he goes to Palaghat and returns to Kochi on Mondays.

During the course of such a journey, Reghuraman acquaints Raziya (Sanusha) who works at the high tech company New Way Infotech at Tirupur. She lives at Mattancherry.

When Raghuraman reaches home he realizes that his bag is being interchanged with that of Raziya. All his important documents are in that bag. He has no contact number of Raziya. He searches her bag and finds her address at Mattancherry and reaches there.

There he sees a crowd of people and police. To his utter shock, Raghuraman sees that Raziya has hanged herself. His bag is on her bed.

Soon the police case turned against Reghuraman. Raziya’s brother Mastan (Manoj K Jayan) is a goon. Reghuram is trapped between the police on one side and Mastan on the other side. Reghuraman seeks shelter at his friend Roshen’s place. Roshen is a makeup man in the film field.

It is learned that Raziya is murdered. Raghuraman’s news with photos soon came published in the newspapers. Raghuraman has to find the true culprit to free himself from the case. Roshen helped him by disguising him as a Muslim, Imran Khan. With this new name and look he reaches the Pakistan colony. The humorous and intriguing events that follow are plotted in ‘Iyer in Pakistan’.

New face Sreelakshmi Sreekumar dons Krishnaveni, the fiancée of Raghuraman. Siddique, Kochupreman, Tini Tom, Kalabhavan Navaz, Niyaz Becker, Sruthilakshmi, and Ponnamma Babu also include the cast.

‘Iyer in Pakistan’ is a suspense thriller presented in a humorous way by debutante director Fazal. The movie is penned by Fazal himself. M Mani produces the film under the banner of Sunitha Productions. M Jayachandran tunes music for the lyrics of Santhosh Varma. Rajaratnam is the cinematographer.
