Baahubali has its flaws but still remains to be a classical wonder. The hard work of the team is visible in every frame, every one tried their level best to transform Rajamouli's dream in to reality. The two parts release seem to have a negative effect on the ace director at the end.

Shivudu (Prabhas) grows up in a tribal forest near Mahishmathi Kingdom. The tribe is headed by Rohini who wants her pack to live within their boundaries to survive while Shivudu is an energetic guy who wants to climb the mountains and explore the world beyond by crossing all the boundaries. One fine day, he falls in love with Avanthika (Tamannah) who is the Princess of a rebel army waiting to attack Mahishmathi. Their love story leads to some severe consequences which reveals Shivudu's past and the reason why he is orphaned.

Rajamouli had made sure all the characters in the film have a good depth. Ramya Krishna as Sivagami and Rana as Bhallaladeva are the major highlights of the stellar cast. They are just riveting in their roles. Rana delivers a career best performance in the role of an antagonist while Ramya Krishna once again proved what a great actress she is. Prabhas is dedication personified but is ordinary at times. Tamannah is oozing glamour while Anushka is good in de-glamour role. Sudeep appears in a little cameo which is fine. Prabhakar, Sathyaraj and Nasser are more than adequate. Adivi Sesh, as Bhallaladeva's son should work on his histrionics.

SS Rajamouli's Baahubali has the shades of many war based Hollywood films and his own Magadheera too. Rajamouli has a dream to make India's biggest motion picture. He achieves it largely with extraordinary art work and VFX. However the soul is sold out just for the sake of luxury. The emotional conflict which usually brings out the best in a SSR film is missing in Baahubali. The major problem is making the film in two parts. Rajamouli fell in love with his script and as a result retained every scene which is written just for the sake of having them. This makes the narration very slow. Several scenes are stretched beyond the limit just for the sake of the second half releasing next year. The movie also ends abruptly as a result. The Interval, Shivudu Realization scene and some parts of the war are the highlights of the film.

Keervani delivered a decent album and couple of them are shot very well. Sound Track is exceptional and is a big Plus. All the Songs are largely situational but the item number is average. cinematography Senthil is technically good. Art work by Sabu Cyril is fantastic. Editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao could have been crispier. Action Choreography by Peter Heins is completely inspired by the Western films. Production values of Arka Media are grand.

Baahubali has its flaws but still remains to be a classical wonder. The hard work of the team is visible in every frame, every one tried their level best to transform Rajamouli's dream in to reality. The two parts release seem to have a negative effect on the ace director at the end. But still the movie is watchable
