Deadpool is drop dead entertaining. A superhero flick that is not so much like the obvious but of course very much a trendsetter.

Who said superheroes can't be humorous? Because they are in a mission to save the world. But what if someone tries to be a rebel in a blue collared job? Present please! Screams Deadpool. He is capable of killing a few, owning up his love and is aggressively adamant when it comes to his mission. But he is anything but boring.

He is on a mission. He is ready to kill, slaughter and means serious business. But he can pronounce love in style. Woos the viewer to make a place for him in their heart. He was damaged and altered owing to an cancer cure experiment. Deadpool decides to survive. To fight his damage, Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) decides to relive as Deadpool.

The film is a celebration of sorts. And right from the beginning sticks to its mission quite positively. Ryan Reynolds is that perfect entertainer, he never fails to grab your eyeballs even with his masked Deadpool avatar. The film is relatable and detaches itself from the relevant cliches too. Deadpool converses time and again with the audience. Looks straight to the camera and makes us a part of his conversation. Breaking the fourth wall, director Tim Miller, gives us more of a reason to get fond of this obnoxious mercenary turned superhero.

Deadpool kicks the villains hard and quickly humors the more serious aspects of existence. Deadpool is definitely a crack in the much known and accepted Marvel universe. But this crack definitely creates a new space within the universe. A welcome space, you see. While Iron Man was a good diversion, Deadpool is the perfect cut from the goody image of superhero.

Deadpool is definitely a not to be missed film. And a better second watch too. The post credit sequence is worth waiting for.
