the fir st time Dileep tries action in Joshy's "Runway". Directed by Joshy, "Runway" has all the elements for a good entertainer. Joshy has added right dose of humor and sentiments to suit the family audience too.

Unni(Dileep) lives a dual life - one as Unni whom everyone in the family knows, and the other one as Valayar Paramasivam, a spirit dealer. He was able to convince his family that he is in Dubai. Unni's life changes when his younger brother, Balu(Indrajit) is posted as the sub inspector at Valayar.

Joshy has changed from his usual method of filmmaking and added more humor to take advantage of Dileep's flexibility in doing comedy. Dileep is convincing in his new role of an action hero. Kavya Madhavan, who plays Unni's neighbour and love interest does not have much to do in the film. Harishree Ashokan and Cochin Haneef add comic elements to the film. The film also stars Jagathy, Shammi Thilakan, Kaviyoor Ponnamma and Suja Karthika. Bhavana makes a guest appearance in an item number. P Sukumar handles the camera. Two of the songs have been shot in Thailand. Joseph Nellikkal is the art director and Sethu provided the effects. The action film has two stunt masters--Basha and Pazhaniraj. The lyrics have been penned by Girish Puthenchery and tuned by Suresh Peters.
