‘Mosayile Kuthirameenukal’ is an adventurous comedy thriller movie set in the backdrop of Lakshadweep. The title is in Lakshadweep language; Mosa means big sea waves and kuthirameenukal are sword fish which are known to be selfish.


The movie unveils the story of two people who meet each other quite unexpectedly. Alexy (Asif Ali) is the 14th son of Kuriachen (Nedumudi Venu), a rubber planter in Kottayam. Alexy shifts to Ernakulam after the death of his father and lives on his own terms.


Under certain circumstances, he has to leave for Lakshadweep. During this journey, he acquaints Akbar Ali (Sunny Wayne). Akbar is a fisherman who speaks the language of Lakshadweep. The rest of the story progresses through their friendship.


Niyaz Ismail produces this film in the banner of Frames Inevitable. Directed by Ajith Pillai, the script is penned by Ajith Pillai along with Vipin Radhakrishnan.
