Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham Telugu Movie
Two political bigwigs, Ganga Prasad (Shayaji Shinde) and Prabhakar (Prakash Raj) always take on each other to get the coveted Chief Minister's chair. However both of them hit roadblock, when an investigative journalist, Shafi of Y Channel exposes a sensational news about both of them. They give supari to a dreaded rowdy Mysamma (Jagapathy Babu) to eliminate Shafi along with a young guy and girl. As Mysamma plots to kill them, an young student from Palakollu, Seenu (Sai Dharam Tej) approaches Mysamma with a shocking deal. That leads to an interesting twist to the story which correlates with a love story of Seenu and Siri (Regina). What happens finally has to be seen on screen.
Sai Dharam Tej definitely puts up an impressive show in his debut. The major plus point is his tremendous ease in dances especially in the introduction song and his decent dialogue delivery. There is a little problem with his looks but the director seem to have taken good care to mask the inadequacies. Regina gets very limited screen space and she lived up to her promise even in the little role. Jagapathi Babu is at his best as usual.Chandra Mohan, Raghu Babu, Ahuti Prasad, Prabhas Srinu, Jayaprakash Reddy, Satya Krishna tool care of the comedy department. Prakash Raj and Shayaji Shinde have performed well as villains. Others are okay.
AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary, the director's biggest success is portraying the debutant well to the audience and he succeeded very well in it. And coming to the film, he has got mixed results through out the film. The film started on a boring note and picks pace in the pre-interval sequence and the first half ends with a promising interval. The director has forced in almost 3 songs in the first 45 minutes of the film making things bizzare at the start. And one can also feel the abrupt climax as a big drawback. The director failed to explore any romance between the lead pair even after having a heroine who is currently talk of the town and also the comedy did not work out as we would have expected in a youthful entertainer.
Anup Rubens came up with a decent album for the film but it is the placement of the songs that spoiled the broth. The Background score is good. Gautam Raju's editing should have been more efficient. Dialogues are good and rib tickling and will definitely go well with masses. Fights and dances are well choreographed. Cinematography of Dasaradhi Sivendra is colourful.
Finally, Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham is a pretty ordinary stuff content wise but the film is a good launchpad for Sai Dharam Tej. His performance will keep the fans as well as common audience interested in him despite the movie result.
