Chandamama Kathalu is too boring attempt to sit back and enjoy. Pat on the back for the intent and slap on the face for the poor execution.

Chandamama Kathalu is an anthology of eight individual stories. People involved in these eight stories are Venkateswara Rao (Krishnudu) - a obese, Krishneswar Rao - an aspirational beggar, Lisa Smith (Lakshmi Manchu) - a falling model, Saritha (Aamani) - a widow and Mohan (Naresh) - Saritha's Ex-boy friend, Saradhi (Kishore) - a widower, Raghu (Chaitanya Krishna) - a college going guy, Ashraf (Abhijeet) - who runs a Kirana Store and Raghu (Naga Shaurya) - an accidental husband.

Kishore gets an author packed role and he pulls it off well. Lakshmi Manchu's role seemed to have inspired from her own life. Pedda Naresh sounded very odd as a posh US returned guy. Aamani is decent in her comeback. Rest of the characters are not up to the mark.

Dealing eight stories in a film is not an easy task. Praveen Sattaru tried his hand in it but could not execute well. It is difficult for him to stitch the different stories together and finally ended up finishing each of them in hurry with out proper logic or reasoning.

Mickey J.Meyer's songs were of no big use to the film but his back ground score is good. Suresh's camera work is neat. Editing is below par. Production values are decent.

The first half of the film tests your patience with slow pace. Things get slightly better in the second half. But as the film ends, the director winds up the stories quickly with out proper justification and logic. Finally Chandamama Kathalu is too boring attempt to sit back and enjoy. Pat on the back for Praveen Sattaru for the intent and slap on the face for the poor execution.
