Ayyappan is the security personnel (Dafedar) of the Collector for the past 40 years. Retired Ayyappan has nowhere to go, no relatives. So even after retirement he dresses himself in his official dress and goes to the Collectorate every day.
‘Dafedar’ narrates the story of honest, sincere, and compassionate Ayyappan. The movie is written and directed by Johnson Esthappan.
