The package delivers more than promised and tells the story of Vijay (Jeet) in a rather filmy way. Entertainment is all you can expect of a film, which has Bachchan as its name and Jeet as the protagonist.
A washer man's son Bacchu aka Vijay Bachchan (Jeet) is a die hard Amitabh Bachchan fan and adapts his name and surname as his identity. As Vijay sets out on his adventures he makes way through a series of crossroads and then dodges in action, like the angry young man, igniting passion in whatever he does. Vijay's story sets afire when he steals the mobile phone of a popular goon.
Bachchan has many flaws, in terms of continuity and excess. Yet the entertainment quotient of the film lives up to expectations and does not disappoint you. Jeet and his best friend Kanchan Mullick, the astrologer keeps the audience entertained and actively involved into the story of Bachchan. Alongside the tilted heroic deeds and action packed moments, there are colourful love songs and superb humorous tale of Vijay's love. How Vijay proposes the ex army officer's daughter Priya (Aindrita Ray) dressed up as a doctor is interesting and adds to the life of Bachchan.
The dialogues are truly humorous. And the setting adds on to the flavour of the humor, by making Bachchan a memorable entertainment. Jeet as the lead protagonist shines and kicks the screen with his presence that is brilliant. He once again makes us believe in mindless entertainments and will definitely push you to make a second visit to your nearest theatre this festive season.
Bachchan is a power packed entertainment. Pick your seat and just hold on to your seats for the next two hours, as the screen explodes with colours of love and sweat of action.
