Bham Bholenath Telugu Movie

Feature Film | 2015
Critics:
Bham Bholenath is an offbeat one line idea which was stretched for two hour plus length only to get bored. Such scripts often need a tight screenplay, comedy and surprises to keep the audience entertained but the director have failed in all fronts.

The movie begins with Krishna (Naveen Chandra), a wannabe don and his friend Praveen (Praveen) going to Seth (Posani Krishna Murali) to sell a rare African diamond they have stolen from a customer at a jewellery store. On a different track there is a jobless software professional Vivek (Navadeep) who along with his friend try to break open the ATM to steal 2 lakhs so that Vivek can bribe his way to get a secure job. As both the parties near their destination, they get money from unexpected means which land them in trouble. Rest is all about how they manage to come out of this mess!

There is a big pack of small time actors in the film. There is Navadeep, Naveen Chandra, Praveen, popular anchor Pradeep Machikonda, Kireeti. And in the girls department, there is Pooja Jhaveri who plays Navadeep's love interest, Sri Lakshmi, Prachi and Shreya. All of the men failed to make any impact as they struggled to justify the poorly written characters. Pooja is cute while Prachi and Shreya are okay in the supporting roles. Pankaj Kesari, Dhanush, Thagbothu Ramesh are okay in their limited roles. Posani and Prudhvi are the biggest stars in this small budget film.

Director Karthik Varma failed in his debut with poor screenplay and confused characters. The climax is a big let down again. Bharani's Camera work and Sai Karthik's music are decent. Editing should have been a lot better.

Bham Bholenath is an offbeat one line idea which was stretched for two hour plus length only to get bored. Such scripts often need a tight screenplay, comedy and surprises to keep the audience entertained but the director have failed in all fronts. You can safely skip the film!
