Finally, Akhil ends up as a mixed bag. Vinayak who was supposed to be helping Akhil for his first film, totally let him do. He is no more than a mere shadow of a great director he was once. Watch Akhil only to admire the star kid and the amount of hardwork and dedication he put in.

Akhil (Akhil Akkineni) is a fun loving guy who falls instantly for a medical student Divya (Sayesha). In order to woo her, he joins hands with K V Rajendra Prasad (Rajendra Prasad). However things take an unexpected twist, as Divya ends up in Europe where a German scientist Kathrochi is in search for Jua which he believes makes him invincible bestowing super natural power. Rest of the story if how Akhil save Divya as well as the Earth from the impending danger.

Akhil has a decent outing with his first film. He treated fans with a feast with some mindblowing dances and good fights. However he had to improve his histrinoics to become a better actor. Sayesha Saigal also becomes an interesting prospect. Even though her character is limited, she did it well and her dances are too good. Mahesh Manjrekar is at his usual self. Brahmanandam as Johnson & Johnson, Sapthagiri as Pothe Babu Rao, Jayaprakash Reddy and Vennela Kishore did not manage good laughs to expected levels. Nagarjuna's cameo is feast for fans while Rajendra Prasad, Hema and African Actors do not have much space.

Veligonda Srinivas in the tryst for a different story, came up with a very predictable one. We find the shades of Hollywood films like Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Ark, Lara Craft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life, Lord of the Rings and our own films like Devi Putrudu, Anji etc. Kona Venkat also failed to impress with a decent script work. Even the dialogues are not on part. Vinayak treats the film with out any excitement from start to end. The climax is even uninteresting.

Thaman and Anup Rubens fail to come up with an interesting album. Mani Sharma had given an excellent BGM. The VFX content is very bad and is again inspired from many Hollywood films. Amol Rathod's camera work is excellent while editing is patchy.

Finally, Akhil ends up as a mixed bag. Vinayak who was supposed to be helping Akhil for his first film, totally let him do. He is no more than a mere shadow of a great director he was once. Watch Akhil only to admire the star kid and the amount of hardwork and dedication he put in.
