Kunjiramayanam Synopsis

‘Kunjiramayanam’ set in a rustic village named Desham revolves around a group of youngsters. The movie is written and directed by debutant Basil Joseph. ‘Kunjiramayanam’ is produced by Suvin K Varkey under the banner of Little Big Films.

Kunjiraman (Vineeth Sreenivasan), Kuttan (Aju Varghese), Lalu (Dhyan Sreenivasan, Kunjuttan (Neeraj Madhav), Bheekaran (Bijukkuttan), Sasi (Deepak), and Ratheesh (Hareesh) are the main characters in the film. Kunjiraman, Kunjuttan and Sasi are one gang and all others are in their opposite gang.

Kunjiraman and Lalu are cousins. Kuttan runs a tailoring shop. Kunjiraman and Lalu’s verbal fight gradually turns into a family feud and the rest of the story forms the plot of ‘Kunjiramayanam’.

The traditional rituals and customs followed by the villagers also form a main part of the movie. The story and dialogues are by Deepu Pradeep.

Justin Prabhakar composes music for the lyrics penned by Manu Manjith. Vishnu Sarma is the cinematographer.
