Utopiayile Rajavu Synopsis

‘Utopiayile Rajavu’ a satirical movie directed by Kamal is the story of C P Swathanthran (Mammootty) who is a very virtuous and honest man.

'Utopiayile Rajavu' happens in an imaginary village named Kokrankara. Parameswaran (Joy Mathew) wrote his will giving all his wealth to his nephew Soman Thambi (Sunil Sugatha), as Parameswaran is unmarried. But later he gets married and he named his son C P Swathanthran.

Parameswaran changed his will in favor of his son, but Soman Thambi did not reveal this to Swathanthran, hence Swathanthran could not inherit the properties and wealth earned by his father.

Swathanthran makes honest attempts along with his friends to prove his identity and to impress the villagers, but in vain. All his deeds rebuffed in a negative manner.

Jewel Mary does the female lead. Nandu, Tini Tom, K P A C Lalitha, Sudheer Karamana, Jayaraj Varier, Mukundan, S P Sreekumar, and Pashanam Shaji also do important roles.
