Zootopia English Movie
Animals walk on their legs, they wear clothes and they can be all that they want to be. That's what a perfect world Zootopia is like. But what's a few missing animals in a perfect world? Police officer Hopps fixes it all, and you laugh at all the cinematic references they manage to bring in. Children will love the idea of equality, but it's the grown-ups who will enjoy it more!
It's a tale you have seen before. Cop who looks meek makes it through Police Academy and has to report at a precinct where the big Bulls and Bears rule. When you make a buddy cop movie with animals, it promises a lot of action and fun. But is it meant for kids?
Sure. There are some fun touches like the train with different sized doors for different sized animals, and how the heroine (Yes! It's a girl who's the hero of the film!) even though is just a cute bunny, wants to become a cop. It's fun to watch her train at the academy. It's an inspiration for the kids because she is determined to become a policeman (gender and small animal equality!)
But it's the grown-ups in the audience who will sit back and enjoy the encounter with Mr. Big, kiss his ring (I'm making the hand gesture already!)...
The movie ticks all the right boxes. Great backdrops. Check. Lots of action. Check. Cuteness and sass. Check. Great dialog. Check. Animals that are so cuddly you want to buy them at a plushie store. Check.
But is it enough to keep the attention of kiddies? Parents! Stuff the kids with treats, because you will love the story. You will love the interaction between the fox and the bunny. The theme of animals going savage is not meant for little kids. But if they're stuffed with jelly beans, I am sure they will love the dogs howling and Clawhouser chomping away at bagels. Yum!
Watch Zootopia for The Godfather scenes. Watch it for the little mice driving little cars. Watch it for 'Pawpsicles'. Watch it for the cool fox and and even cooler bunny. It is not as uplifting as The Good Dinosaur, but it is good, clean fun.
