Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo is a below average fare. Except for some parts which can be embraced by Naga Chaitanya's fans, the film is excruciatingly slow and may find it difficult to go with usual film audience.

Leela Satyamurthy (Manjima Mohan) is a Maharashtrian who works as an Assistant Director. He comes to Vishakapatnam to visit her friend Maitreyi. Rajinikanth, Brother of Maitreyi and a College Student falls for her and takes her on a road trip to Kanyakumari. But then the couple meets an accident and at the same day, her parents were attacked in Maharashtra. The couple has a gang falling behind them. What happens next in their trip and their lives forms the rest of the story.

Naga Chaitanya is good in a two shaded role as a Loverboy (in the first half) and Action hero (in the second half). Manjima Mohan is good in her debut movie and is a natural fit for the role. Baba Sehgal puts in a decent performance as a bad cop but then his role is not well written. Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo in a typical Gautam Menon style. The first half is all about the love story with so many songs rushing in. The proceedings are very slow but the first half is passable.

When the story runs into the actual story, Gautam Menon makes a mess. The action scenes are very prolonged testing the patience of the audience. The heroism scenes of Naga Chaitanya only worked in parts making the second half totally frivolous.

Gautam Menon totally failed with the screenplay and the direction. AR Rahman has done a good job with the songs and they are picturized well as well. Vellipomake is good but then is wrongly placed. Songs are good on screen but they do not haunt them after leaving the theaters. Camera work is natural and the DOP captured some scenic locales of Kerala.

Finally, Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo is a below average fare. Except for some parts which can be embraced by Naga Chaitanya's fans, the film is excruciatingly slow and may find it difficult to go with usual film audience.
