Sarbjit Synopsis

A biographical film on Sarabjit Singh - an Indian who was convicted by the Supreme Court of Pakistan on charges of terrorism. After a hasty trial he was condemned and sentenced to death in 1991, but the sentence was repeatedly postponed by the Government of Pakistan. While in prison in April 2013, he was attacked by fellow inmates and died six days later at Jinnah Hospital, Lahore. The film is narrated through the perspective of Sarabjit Singh's sister Dalbir Kaur played by Aishwarya Rai.
