Aatadukundham Raa Telugu Movie

Feature Film | 2016 | UA | Romantic
Critics:
Aatadunkundham Raa is yet another routine commercial stuff sticking to a confusion family and revenge template with cliched scenes and narration. Except for some decent comedy scenes here and there, everything is poor about the movie.

Karthik (Sushanth) runs away from his house in his childhood and gets to land in USA. Years later, his family back in India is in need of him to settle a property dispute. The family is in trouble after getting ditched by a best friend. Karthik finds his way back to steer them out of the trouble. But then there is another twist in the story which takes the story back to square one. What is that? How it pans out finally forms the rest of the story.

Sushanth looked good in some scenes. He is already few films old but still that old habits of poor dialogue delivery and struggle to express are in still intact. There is a bit of improvement but definitely not up to the mark. Sonam Preet is good looking and nothing more than that. Murali Sharma is an apt fit and is at ease. Brahmanandham is routine and so is Prudhvi. Vennela Kishore is good to some extent. Raghu Babu, Sudha, Rama Prabha, Harish and others are okay. Naga Chaitanya and Akhil have short cameos.

Nageshwar Reddy is known for his routine and beaten to death formula films. Aatadukundham Raa is one more addition. The story-line is slick and routine. The first half of the film is average with some comedy scenes working out. The interval bang is also interesting. Things fall into a pit with illogical scenes. The routine confusion comedy added with a lot of lag irritates the audience. There are several scenes without any logic.

Anoop Rubens came up with Okayish music for the film. The Background score is also okay. The Cinematography is adequate. Editing is okay while Action is totally over the top. Production Values are appropriate.
