Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu Telugu Movie
Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu is an extension of Allari Mogudu (1192). Bhakthavatsala Naidu (Mohan Babu) marries both Priyamvada (Ramya Krishna) and Suryakantham (Meena) with out each of them knowing about the other. He has a son Gautham (Varun), and a daughter Shruti (Poorna). But Gautam and Shruti fall in love. Naidu takes help of a sidekick, Balaraju (Allari Naresh) to stop this sin. But this will only increase his trouble. What happens finally in Naidu's life forms the rest of the story.
The Collection King is very much a misfit for this film. He is passable even in the poorly written roles. Allari Naresh tries his level best to shoulder the film but again the script lets him down. Meena and Ramya Krishna are just okay. Poorna gained some weight and got an insignificant role. Ali, Sonia and Varun Sandesh are all wasted.
Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu is a tasteless family drama. Director Srinivas Reddy got a very routine treatment to a regressive story. The beaten to death formula is further spoiled by stone age old narration and comedy. The first half of the film is horrible and things get further worse in the second half. Srinivas Reddy tried to force things to include a suspense element but nothing really worked. Production values of 24 Frames Factory are very poor. Songs by Koti, Raghu Kunche and Achu are totally misplaced and the BGM is one of the worst in recent times. Cinematography and Editing make the film a technical disaster.
Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu is that kind of film where everything goes wrong. Telugu Cinema do not deserve to have such horrible films. When we dig in to what went wrong in the film, we find so many in every frame. Skip and be safe!
