The trailer you watched is far superior to what you watched for two hours. Everything happens so slowly, you want to take the hero's gun (he's just posing with it!) and shoot yourself with it, or at least someone in the movie just to get a reaction from them.

The tagline describes the film as “a lethal love story”. Teraa Surroor sure is lethal, but for all the wrong reasons, what with Himesh striving very, very hard to pass himself off as a poor man’s superman.Terra Surroor is pretty much like Himesh’s singing: it’s a drone that gets grating after a point. Does Teraa Surroor have any redeeming feature at all? Well, the length is a bit of a relief. The film’s runtime is 15 minutes under two hours.

The focus stays firmly on Himesh Reshammiya, who remains blank-faced through it all, never cracking a single smile, not even when he is with his girl. All in tons of slo mo, alternating with dizzying camera angles. All drowned in loud background music. One character says : “oh god it’s a mess”. An apt line.
