Thoppil Joppen Synopsis

Mammootty is again donning a Christian character named Thoppil Joppen, a planter and an avid fan of the game of Kabaddi, in the village of Thoppramkudi.

Joppen is the captain of the Kabaddi team Cheers. Joppen is a very rich planter who owns vast area of land. Most of the kabaddi games end up in fights. Joppen is also a drunkard. Eldho, Mathen, Aravindhan, and Pappichayan are Joppen’s close friends.

Andrea Jeremiah and Mamta Mohandas are the heroines. Mamta does the role of a medical student Maria. Renji Panicker, Harisree Asokan, Alansiar Le, Suresh Krishna, and Saju Navodaya also do important roles.

‘Thoppil Joppen’ directed by Johny Antony is scripted by Nishad Koya. Vidyasagar is the music director.
