Nenu Local Telugu Movie

Feature Film | 2017 | Comedy
Critics:
Nenu Local ends up as a Worth-a-watch experience with good comedy and fairly engaging narration. It also marks the complete arrival of Nani as a Commercial Hero like Raviteja. Even though, it is a routine script with few cliches, Nenu Local manages to entertain the audiences and is a Paisa Vasool experience.

An aimless and freshly graduated Babu (Nani) falls for Keerthi (Keerthi Suresh). Keerthi's father (Sachin Khedkar) is very friendly with her and vows to marry the lad selected by her father. The task at hand for Babu is to win her love with her father's approval. But that does not come easy with a big twist in the tale.

Nani as always done a fantastic job. He is always a proven good actor and raised the bar further with this movie. His Hyper Energetic Performance is very convincing and thoroughly impressive. Keerthi Suresh is a good fit and impresses with her acting skills. But then she looks a little odd at times with her not so slim appearance. Sachin Khedkar is good. Naveen Chandra plays a special role and is good too. Posani is great as always. Other supporting cast are okay.

Trinadha Rao Nakkina had chosen a routine script for the film. Prasanna Kumar Bejawada penned the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film. The story has similarities to films with a similar story line and one might find it as same old stuff. But then they managed to entertain the audience with good comedy and fairly engaging narration. The first half is all about romance while the second half is all about drama, challenges and emotions involved to make a happy ending.

Devi Sri Prasad is disappointing in his first combination with Nani. The music is not up to his standard with only two Songs being good on-screen. The background score is adequate. Nizar Shafi's Camera work is okay while Editing is also decent. The fights are stylishly made. Production Values are good.

Finally, Nenu Local ends up as a Worth-a-watch experience with good comedy and fairly engaging narration. It also marks the complete arrival of Nani as a Commercial Hero like Raviteja. Even though it is a routine script with few cliches, Nenu Local manages to entertain the audiences and is a Paisa Vasool experience.
