Agnathavasi Telugu Movie

Feature Film | 2018 | UA | Comedy, Family
Critics:
Agnyaathavaasi is that kind of film where everything is a letdown except for a couple of scenes and action sequences. It would have been a lot better if Largo Winch is made as it is without any changes.

Vinda (Boman Irani) is a Multi-Billionaire who raises his son, Abhishikth Bhargav (Pawan Kalyan) from the first marriage in exile to protect his business empire in unforeseen circumstances. He is murdered one fine day and Abhishikth joins the company as anonymously as an employee. Rest is all about how Abhishikth traps the real culprits and takes over the business empire.

Pawan Kalyan is gushing energy as in all Trivikram's films. But certain mannerisms which used to be enjoyable in his previous films are stretched beyond the acceptable levels. Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel exist in the movie for the namesake. Rao Ramesh and Murali Sharma are good in the roles they are offered. Aadi has got a poorly written role. Khushboo is okay and Boman Irani is apt. Raghu Babu and Vennela Kishore Brought in some laughs here and there. Rest does not deserve a Special Mention.

Trivikram - The Writer and Director seem to be diminishing with every film. The movie is a rip off from Largo Winch with some character changes. Some of the scenes are total copy paste. The script is the biggest culprit. The entertainment part for which Trivikram is famous for is a letdown. It only gives a stretched feeling to the movie. There are a few scenes here and there which give the high but they could make the movie experience pleasant. The hero-heroine track is an absolute dud.

Anirudh disappoints in his debut film in Tollywood. Songs are okay but they are misplaced. Pawan Kalyan does not even give lip-sync to songs and forget about the dances. Background score is also not that great. Manikandan's camera work is the major highlight and the editing is disappointing. Production Values are Grand.

Finally, Agnyaathavaasi is that kind of film where everything is a let-down except for a couple of scenes and action sequences. It would have been a lot better if Largo Winch is made as it is without any changes.
