Singham-3 Telugu Movie

Feature Film | 2017 | U | Action, Thriller
Critics:
Singham-3 (S3) as the in the case of previous films in the franchise is targeted at the masses and works with them even though there are some shortcomings like lousy Comedy and Loud BGM. As a whole, it will be an average fare.

Narasimham (Suriya) is an honest and angry cop. He gets promoted to CBI and is transferred to Mangalore. He is given the responsibility of solving the murder mystery of Mangalore City Police Commissioner. Upon investigation, it is revealed that it is not only about a murder but is lead to a local mafia don, AS Reddy (Sharad Saxena) and a globally networked mafia of Medical waste. What happens next in the story forms the rest.

Suriya is a rockstar and shoulders the movie perfectly. He is a perfect as an Angry Cop Narasimham with his handlebar mustache and well-chiseled body. The masses will enjoy his daredevil stunts and swift movements which add value to the racy screenplay. Anushka is finally married in this installment of Singham series but looks out of shape. Shruti Hassan plays an investigative journalist. Both the heroines have got limited screen space. Senior Actress Radhika plays an important role in the movie. Soori's Comedy Track is a big letdown in the film.

As in the case of previous films in Singham series, S3 has got a wafer-thin story and is fully stuffed with high voltage action sequences. The screenplay which is very racy is a big plus to the movie as like the previous two parts. The Australia Airport fight is the major highlight. The movie pics pace before the interval and proceeds with the same tempo. The lousy comedy track, loud BGM and too many action sequences will tire the normal audience. But then the action sequences will work with the masses.

Devi Sri Prasad, the regular composer of Singham series was replaced by Harris Jairaj in this film but he is disappointing with his work in the film. The songs come as speed breakers except for a couple of songs. The background score is too loud. Editing is okay while the Production values are rich.

Finally, Singham-3 (S3) as the in the case of previous films in the franchise is targeted at the masses and works with them even though there are some shortcomings like lousy Comedy and Loud BGM. As a whole, it will be an average fare.
