Critics:
Raju Gari Gadhi-2 is a decent attempt with Nagarjuna and Samantha stealing the show. You will be disappointed if you expecting to get spooked but comedy will keep you interested.

Kishore (Vennela Kishore), Praveen (Praveen) and Ashwin (Ashwin Babu) start a resort by the side of a beach but start experiencing mysterious things at nights in the resort. After a lot of struggle, they approach a Church Father (played by senior actor Naresh), who in turn seeks the help of Rudra (Akkineni Nagarjuna), one of the world's renowned mentalists. And it leads to the ghost of Amrutha (Samantha) which is trying to avenge its death.

Nagarjuna's character is given a modern look which will enthrall the fans. His dialogue delivery and body language add beauty to the role. Samantha showed her acting prowess in a non-glamorous role. The climax sequences between Nagarjuna and Samantha are impressive. The first half is more about the bonding and comedy between Kishore, Praveen and Ashwin Babu which did not work. Seerat Kapoor is at her glamorous best and gets a decent role with an abrupt ending.

The

first half of the film is almost a scene-by-scene remake of 'Pretham' (Malayalam). In the second half, the director re-engineers the scripts and adds an emotional touch to the climax. The first half, however, emerges as a weak link to the story. In Pretham, Samantha's character is poor and old-worn. He cleverly retouched it for the Telugu version and as a result, it also added mojo to the mentalist character. Abburi Ravi's dialogues in the second half are heart-touching. R Diwakaran's cinematography is dexterous while Thaman's BGM complements the screenplay.

Finally, Raju Gari Gadhi-2 is a decent attempt with Nagarjuna and Samantha stealing the show. You will be disappointed if you expecting to get spooked but comedy will keep you interested.
