Achari America Yatra Telugu Movie
Achari (Manchu Vishnu) and his troop of Brahmins go to a house to perform a Homam but gets into a tussle there. Fearing an attempt on their lives, they escape to America. But then it is a trap by Achari to take them there in search of his girl friend, Renuka (Pragya Jaiswal). What happens next forms the rest of the story.
Vishnu does a decent job as a Brahmin. He evoked some good comedy and heroism in some sequences. Brahmi is seen in a full-length role after a long time and did what he is always famour for. Pragya Jaiswal looked good and performed decent. Surekha Vani and Kota Srinivasa Rao are good. Antagonists - Pradeep Rawat and Anoop Thakur Singh are okay. Posani and Prudhvi are disappointing.
The story of the film is quite old and has so many resemblances. Except for some comedy here and there, there is nothing appealing about the film. The first half is a bit bearable but there are several boring sequences in the second half. The characterization of the villains is also poor. The climax is also disappointing. Even though the story is a bit okay, director G Nageswara Reddy failed to do justice to the film. Thaman's music is pretty decent as some of the songs sound well. Dialogues written are witty and evoke some laughs here and there. Editing is very poor and the production values are also not upto the mark. R Siddharth's cinematography is okay.
Finally, Achari America Yatra is another routine and outdated comedy which bores audience from the start to the end. Only a couple of blocks and witty dialogues are some relief.
