Hello is a decent love story along the lines of Manasantha Nuvve (2001). What sets this apart from those old movies is Vikram Kumar's narrative drive and action stunts. Whatever may be the commercial aspect, the movie is a perfect relaunch for Akhil.

Seenu (Akhil) is an orphan who meets Junnu (Kalyani) during his childhood. Their friendship turns into a gradual liking for each other. Due to her Father's Job, Junnu's Family move to Delhi and thus they get separated. After 15 years, Seenu is still waiting to meet Junnu again and the rest is all about how he unites with Junnu with an important clue through his mobile.

Akhil shines in action and dances. He puts up much-improved performance when compared to his debut movie. Kalyani makes a confident debut and is an apt fit for the role. Ajay is okay as a villain who later turns to comedy. Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishna are good as Hero's Parents while Anish Kuruvilla and Satya Krishnan are okay as Junnu's parents.

The action composed by Bob Brown is excellent. Songs composed by Anup Rubens are very good and the background music is excellent. PS Vinod's camera work is excellent while Prawin Pudi's editing is slick. Production Values by Annapurna Studios are excellent.

Hello has got a story which is very routine and similar to Manasantha Nuvve (2001). However, Vikram managed to impress with his excellent screenplay and narration. It definitely has its own share of flaws but it is enjoyable as long as the emotions worked. On the flipside, a good 40 minutes is wasted for the childhood sequences and we get to see Akhil only for five minutes in the first hour. Also, the mobile episode looked silly and logicless. Nevertheless, the movie is definitely a decent watch and good relaunch for the actor.

Finally, Hello is a decent love story along the lines of Manasantha Nuvve (2001). What sets this apart from those old movies is Vikram Kumar's narrative drive and action stunts. Whatever may be the commercial aspect, the movie is a perfect relaunch for Akhil.
