Chal Mohan Ranga Telugu Movie

Feature Film | 2018
Critics:
Chal Mohan Ranga is good in parts with some funny episodes here and there. There is hardly any story with routine dialogues. It is an average fare at best.

Mohan Ranga (Nithin) falls in love with Megha (Megha Akash) in his childhood but she leaves him behind flying to the USA. From then, his life ambition is to go to the USA and finally he manages a visa after he grows up. He meets Megha there but does not know she is the one. How love blooms between them? Why they break up once again? How they unite at the end? forms the rest.

Nithin has done a fine job in this role. He does a decent job with the comedy and also improved a bit in the emotional scenes. It is such film in which the hero is all in all and the actor did a good job. Megha Akash is good and her act is also fine. Lizzy is back after a long time and she is okay. Rao Ramesh, Naresh, Madhunandhan, Narra Srinu are good as well.

Trivikram has assisted the script work of this film directed by Krishna Chaitanya. We can see Trivikram mark all over in the scenes and dialogues. Thaman's music is good. Pedda Puli song appeals to the masses while Gha Gha Megha song is visually beautiful. Camera work by Nataraja Subrahmaniam is a highlight. Editing by SR Sekhar could have been better in the second half. Production Values are grand.

The first half of the film is fun with Nithin's struggles to get the America Visa. Even though there is no much story, the first half is good. The second half, however, is a dampener with boring sequences. There is no much comedy as well except for the Pre-Climax block. The climax is again routine.

Finally, Chal Mohan Ranga is good in parts with some funny episodes here and there. There is hardly any story with routine dialogues. It is an average fare at best.
