Arjun Reddy is a young lad oozing arrogance and attitude and also suffers from uncontrollable anger issues. He falls in love with Preity (Shalini) and the rest of the story is all about his journey through different phases of his life in a span of 7-8 years.

Devarakonda is a real rockstar and he sets the screen on fire with his amazing screen presence and performance. He walked straight into the character and not even in one frame we see Vijay Devarakonda. It is Arjun Reddy every where. The anger and emotions he delivers in the role are just impeccable. His biggest strength is that we never get a feel he copied it from some one or somewhere. Shalini Pandey delivers a solid performance in a limited role. The guy who played the hero's friend is hilarious with funny dialogues till the end.

eep Vanga, the director and writer of the film excelled in both the roles. The first half is an emotional roller coaster ride but midway through the film, you feel it is getting lengthy and boring with too many repetitive scenes. The climax again is well-handled. Camera work by Raju Thota is terrific. Editing should have been better in the second half. Some unnecessary scenes should have been trimmed. Production Values by Bhadrakali Pictures are okay.
