Critics:
2 Countries is easily one of the crappiest movies we have seen this year as it bores the audience to the core. Sunil is in his lowest form.

Ullas (Sunil) is a greedy guy who goes any extent for money and gives a damn for emotions and relations. He decides to marry a girl despite her handicap but in the last minute marries his childhood friend Laya (Manisha Raj) because she has more money. How Ullas finally knows the value of Human Relations and Emotions is what the movie is all about.

In the name of his own style, Sunil is getting monotonous these days. The actor tried his best to evoke some laughs with his usual mannerisms but that did not work. Manisha Raj is clueless in her first outing. Srinivas Reddy and Prudhvi brought in some laughs here and there. There is a host of actors like Chandramohan, Krishna Bhagavan, Shayaji Shinde, Chammak Chandra, Raja Ravindra, Sitara, Sijju, etc who all are totally wasted.

2 Countries Genre is an unfamiliar terrain for N Shankar but he opted that aiming for a big commercial comeback, but he has utterly failed. It is a routine story with interesting screenplay but is narrated clumsily. The director failed miserably to use the emotional buildup the script offers. Except for the interval point which is alright, the first half is disappointing. The second half starts on a dull note. Some interest is generated only toward the climax.

Gopi Sundar came with two just okay songs and the background score is good. Sreedhar Seepana put up a poor show in dialogues with too much emphasis on rhyming. The cinematography is good while Production Values are appropriate. Editing is too much patchy.

Finally, 2 Countries is easily one of the crappiest movies we have seen this year as it bores the audience to the core. Sunil is in his lowest form.
