Officer Telugu Movie

Feature Film | 2018 | Action, Crime, Drama
Critics:
Ram Gopal Varma has failed to make use of the chance given by Nagarjuna with His Big Heart. In the end, he ended up giving a big disaster for Nagarjuna as well. We may conclude that the brilliant director once is lost somewhere totally.

Shivaji Rao (Nagarjuna), a tough and brilliant cop who is sent from Hyderabad to Mumbai to probe if Narayana Pasari, an Encounter Specialist is involved with the mafia. Rest of the story is all about if Shivaji finds the truth and the problems he faces in the process.

Nagarjuna looked fit for the role of a Police Officer but looked tired in action sequences. Ajay is okay as his colleague and the new actress Myra Sareen fails to impress in a poorly written role. Feroz Abbasi who played Narayana Pasari is impressive while Baby Kavya is adorable and expressive.

Ram Gopal Varma showed a glimpse of a comeback in the first half but his old habits returned in the second half. He failed as a writer as well as a director. The film has two songs are okay. The much-hyped Sound does not impress much. Camera work is decent. Dialogues are poor. Editing could have been better in the second half. Production Values are Poor.

Ram

Gopal Varma came up with an interesting line of a police officer who became famous for eliminating mafia himself turning mafia don but then, Ram Gopal Varma failed to translate it to the big screen. The sentiment scenes and song are totally ineffective. The second half is stuffed only with chases and fights which are not effective and relevant. The Climax is even boring.

Finally, Ram Gopal Varma has failed to make use of the chance given by Nagarjuna with His Big Heart. In the end, he ended up giving a big disaster for Nagarjuna as well. We may conclude that the brilliant director once is lost somewhere totally.
