6 Viralukal Review

|
This is a deeply silly movie that carries all the characteristics of amateurish film-making. A highly avoidable product from the creative stable of an experienced director.

After a brief hiatus, director Nizar breaks his creative silence through the revenge drama "6 Viralukal," which has a depressing tale. Nizar embraces the old-fashioned narration and even the action sequences reveal the absurdity in the presentation. Turning a blind eye to the creative aspects that would have aided the flick, Nizar carries on the exercise of presenting the incidents that occur in the life of Jose, a tough lorry driver, enacted by debutant Biju Varghese.

The ridiculous moments reach the pinnacle of dullness when a woman disguises herself as a youth by sporting a single line moustache. And the ruffian hero is unable to recognise her real identity albeit she stays in his house. Bhavana (Deepthi Menon) appears as a mysterious character in the film. The drama takes a new dimension when a gang tries to kill Jose. Except a couple of actors, all the actors are rather newcomers.

It is perhaps the forgettable movie in Nizar's career so far. He had made a promising debut in the film "Sudhinam" with Jayaram and Madhavi in the lead in 1994.The lacklustre treatment and the poor performance by the actors are truly a setback as far as the impact of the film is concerned.

The characters are vying for exuding the bizarre expressions in the flick, scripted by Rafi Mannar. Biju Varghese and Deepthi Menon have a disappointing debut since the screenplay fails to wipe out the haze of drama and present a coherent plot.

The narrative of this film is weird so that the tiresome feel soars at all level. The aimless plot has only frustration to offer due to lame approach to all departments. With the cropping up of senseless scenes, the efforts to comb for something positives about the film draw a blank. Â
