PLOT:

A pleasant road trip takes a nightmarish turn for gemologist Sunny George when he meets with an accident. As his life hangs in the balance on the edge of a cliff in the middle of nowhere, Sunny must not only contend with the great adversity he is in, but the adversaries lurking in the shadows as well.

If you ignore the tottering tale, the tentacles of this 'Neerali' are strong enough to offer consistent gripping moments. The much-awaited suspense leaves you panting for more though Mohanlal hogs the limelight with his smart performance. It could have been a better survival thriller had the creative wings attained more supremacy.

I seriously don't know why the makers decided to make this movie.With a totally absurd plot,Neerali fails to impress.This movie does not deserve a 2.5 rating.Below average movie.This movie would have worked if it was made as a short film of 15 min duration.Please don't compare this with movies like 127 hours or Buried. If anyone is planning to watch this movie when its DVD releases,just skip all the boring and irrelevant flashback scenes.

We booked 4 tickets online. For a total cost of 560. Add to that, the cost of car park, snacks, time spent in the theatre, time lost not watching other movie or doing something productive, Embarrassment, frustration, disgust and other negative feelings .. all in all, damage done to the audience is irriversible. Next 5 movies of Mohan lal, I shall download a pirated copy. This movie deserves a rating of 0/5, and a tight slap to the makers.
