Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi Review
Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi is the story revolving around four friends - Vivek (Vishwaksen Naidu), Karthik (Sushanth Reddy), Kaushik (Abhinav Gomatam), Upendra (Venkatesh Kakamanu), each with their own ambitions, who decide to collaborate and make a short film. The movie is all about their road trip to Goa.
Even though, all the four guys have got equally important character, Vishwakshen Naidu is the closest to be called as the lead hero. His character resembles Arjun Reddy very much. Abhinav Gomatam may be the find of the industry as the next big comedian. Sushanth Reddy and Venkatesh Kakamanu are apt as well to their roles. Simran Chowdary and Anisha Ambrose are done in the little roles they are offered.
Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi is more of a Road Film with a little story but drives on the unique characterizations of all the four friends. The director, however, banked on the buddy angle and comedy to drive his point home. The movie suffers pace problems, especially in the second half. The short film scenes are lengthy and pointless at times but comedy helped again. The climax is weak and routine. Vivek Sagar came up with fresh and trendy music once again. Camera work is good and apt for the road film. Editing is okay. The production values of Suresh Productions are excellent.
Finally, Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi has several loopholes due to a weak story but the director still managed to sell it with some excellent comedy and youth connect. Tharun Bhascker has a winner despite all that as he is likely to touch the right chords of the youth audience.
