F2 Review

Venky (Venkatesh) marries Harika (Tamannaah) with high hopes and dreams but things change after Harika and her mother tries to dominate her just after six months. Varun (Varun Tej) falls for Harika's sister Honey (Mehreen) and lands into problems even before marriage. Rest is all about the trouble which they undergo and how they solve their problems.

F2 is the One Man Show of Victory Venkatesh and he is at his best after a long time. Varun is decent and his Telangana Accent is good. Tamannaah is adequate but Mehreen goes overboard at places. Rajendra Prasad, Prakash Raj and other Supporting Cast are largely fine.

Anil Ravipudi picked up a very familiar story but weaved the magic with his comedy and writing skills. There are no suspense or twists to the film, he banked only on comedy. Devi Sri Prasad's songs are not much appealing but the background score has been fine. Sameer Reddy's camera work is colorful. Editing by Bikkina Thammiraju is good. Production Values are appropriate.

F2 is an out and out Entertainer driven by Family elements mixed with slapstick comedy. The first half of the film is pretty good while the second half has been decent. Venkatesh is at his best in a tailor-made role of his Prime and carries the film on his shoulders. Even though there are some issues here and there, it is a pretty much Decent and watchable Family Comedy.
