Vijay Govind (Vijay Deverakonda) is a College Lecturer who wants to have a homely and calm-going girl as his wife. One day, he meets his dream girl in real and she happens to be Geetha (Rashmika Mandanna). He falls for her at the first site. She happens to travel along with him in a bus journey and kisses him. Govind takes a selfie of the Kiss. Geetha's Brother and his gang are after him for that photo. What happens next in the story forms the rest.

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna's Performances and the chemistry between them is the major highlight of the film. Vijay performed really well in a role different to that of Arjun Reddy. He performed well in the emotional sequences as well. Rashmika is beautiful as well as a great performer. Nagababu is good as Deverakonda's father but his dubbing is bad. Subbaraju gets a crucial role and he is good. Vennela Kishore, Annapurnamma, and Rahul Ramakrishna managed some good laughs.

The

movie has a wafer-thin story but the director Parasuram managed to keep the film interesting with clean comedy and perfect casting. The first half is good with high entertainment quotient but the second half gets a bit slow. Even though we feel a bit lag with the high dose of emotions in the second half, it is covered by the comedy at the end. Gopi Sundar's music has worked big time for the film. All the songs are good. Every department - Cinematography, Editing, and Production Values worked so well in the film. Production Values are excellent.

Finally, Geetha Govindam is an entertaining rom-com which offers a lot of fun and has superb songs. Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika pull off this romantic drama that has a very regular story. Their chemistry makes this enjoyable watch.
