Happy Wedding Telugu Movie Review
Anand (Sumanth Aswin) and Akshara (Niharika) are in love and decided to get married with the consent of their parents. But then, Akshara suddenly feels that Anand has taken her granted after she accepted his proposal. At that time, her Ex comes back into her life leaving her confused as she feels that she is doing a wrong thing by getting married in a hurry. The sequence of incidents that follows later forms the rest of the story.
Niharika has improved from her first film while Sumanth Ashwin definitely gave his career-best performance even though he has to improve his dialogue delivery a lot. Indraja is good in a role with substance. Murali Sharma, Senior Naresh, and Tulasi are okay in the supporting roles.
As said earlier, Happy Wedding deals with a contemporary concept of Boys taking girls granted and becoming less caring after the girl accepts. But then, the director faltered in executing it. He should have added more romance between the lead pair and also the conflict point needs to be more interesting. The first half of the film is good and the second half is okay. The director preaches too much with lengthy dialogues which may not cater to some sections of the audience. Finally, Happy Wedding is a Passable Love Drama with Family Connect. It may appeal to the A-Class audience.
