Son of Sardaar 2 Hindi Movie
In a village, 12-year-old Aarav and friends participate in annual Mango Festival hunt, searching for rare golden mango. They face challenges, rivalries, learn teamwork, festival's meaning of unity. They find mango, strengthen bonds.
Son of Sardaar 2, the sequel to the 2012 comedy, attempts to revive the chaotic slapstick spirit of its predecessor but ends up as a loud and uneven comedic affair. Critics broadly criticize the film for its lazy writing, forced humor, and lack of originality. While Ajay Devgn’s performance is appreciated in parts and a few reviewers find it “silly but harmless fun,” the film is generally seen as uninspired and creatively bankrupt. The jokes frequently fall flat, with many reviewers calling the humor tiring, derogatory, or more annoying than amusing. A handful of critics admit it might entertain those with low expectations or a taste for mindless fun, but even then, it’s a stretch to justify its existence beyond brand recall and star power.
Verdict:
Son of Sardaar 2 is a forgettable and poorly written sequel that leans heavily on slapstick and legacy IP without offering meaningful comedy or story. Despite a few laughs and Devgn's presence, it’s largely a misfire that relies on quantity over quality in its gags.
