PLOT:

In a rural Tamil Nadu village in the mid-1990s, mother and son clash over one woman's decision to live life on her own terms. The son, newly returned from the city and aspiring to marry into an urban family, insists his mother wear a blouse with her sari; she refuses, unwilling to give up her identity and comfort. Her defiance becomes a quiet act of rebellion against societal expectations, exposing deep-rooted prejudices about class, caste, and bodily autonomy.
