Do not forget to take your mobile phones while going to watch Anumanaspadam. You will get a lot of time to send SMS messages during the movie. The movie is so boring that you will get plenty of time do a number of things such as going to the wash room frequently, trying out different eatables at the snack bar, talking with your friend, and sending SMS messages etc.

The Vamsi and Illayraja combination magic doesn't work this time and Anumanaspadam doesn't measure up to the hype that it had generated before its release. Anvwesana was the last such similar venture where the duo had successfully kept the viewers on the edge of their seats. But Anumanaspadam sends the viewers repeatedly away from their seats.

The only good thing about Anumanaspadam is the deep forests in which the movie is shot.

As for the bad things...the list is endless.

Anyway, here is the story in a nutshell. A map to a treasure left by the Sandalwood smuggler Veerappan is handed over to Bhasu (Aryan Rajesh) who is a media reporter. He hires a team of professionals to track the treasure. With him are two girls: a doctor (Hamsa Nandini) and a bomb diffuser (Vanitha Reddy). A suspended forester (Jaypakash Reddy) as a guide, a cook/waste, a driver/AIDS Raju, and an insomniac comprise the rest of the gang. They venture into the forest to open a not-so-thrilling adventure that gets scarier yet boring by the scene as one by one member of the expedition team is killed. Only Bhasu and the doctor who are in love remain till the end to solve and end the mystery as well as mercifully, the movie.

Nothing can keep the viewer interested in the movie. The songs are as meaningless and cacophonous as the characters are. By the time the movie ends the viewer is just happy to be out of the theatre and thank God that the ordeal has ended.
