Vaathiyar Tamil Movie

Action king Arjun and director Venkatesh are joining hands for the first time in the film Vathiyaar. Mallika Kapoor (heroine of Azhagai Irukkirai) plays Arjun's love interest.

The story is set in a college. Arjun is acting as a professor. He is do-gooder who cares for the welfare of his people. The professor is revered by his students for his righteousness and for solving issues using brain rather than brawn. His ultimate struggle for justice begins when he confronts certain antisocial elements who try to take control of his college affairs.

According to the director Venkatesh, Arjun has given a mind blowing performance. His perfecting timing in action sequences will become a sensation. The director believes that the pleasures of the movie lie in its songs, fight, and in its story line.

Prakash Raj plays the villain and Vadivelu provides comic relief. Imman has composed the music. His remix of yesteryear classic Atho Andha Paravai Polae will provide a treat to the ears. AP Film Garden produces the film.

After Madarasi, which bombed at the box office, Arjun hopes that Vathiyaar will stop his sagging film career.
