Hilarious will be the correct word to describe the movie in one word. The movie starts with a very funny scene and the array of humorous scenes does not stop.

The movie is about Mr. K.K. Khosla (Anupam Kher) who spends all his money to buy a plot in South Delhi. He does this just for his family and younger son Chiraunjilal aka Cherry (Parvin Dabbas), who is Computer Engineer. But the story starts rolling when they find out that their plot is illegally occupied by Khurana (Boman Irani) who asks for Rs. 15 lakh to give possession of the plot back to Khosla.

They try everything from seeking help from police to politician but nothing helps. K.K. Khosla even tries the trick given by his elder son Bunty (Ranvir Shorey). But he ends up locked up in the Jail.

But finally his younger son cherry decides “tit for tat” trick and they decide to fool Khurana, sell fake plot to him and use the same money to get their plot back.

The movie is galore of great actors like Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Ranvir Shorey, Parvin Dabbas. Ranvir is growing rapidly in every film, the accent and dialogue delivery is just superb and he just makes anyone laugh.

Anupam Kher, another man to make a note. He did his role brilliantly. A simple middle class person who is very polite and believes doing things legally than choosing the other path.

Boman Irani is great like always.

Apart from the humor in the story, it also focuses on the father son relationship. How a father does anything for his son but son disappoints his father by giving news about his New York job. The son has feelings for his dad but somehow he fails to express but when the father is in trouble, he decides to cancel the US plan and helps his father to get his land back.

Okay, let me sum things up.

Story: Very different story though it was kind of predictable in the end but it was real fun ride. The characters of the movie made it colorful and it ends up being a laughter riot.

Acting: Bowing down to Boman Irani and Anupam Kher. Great actors and superb acting. Ranvir Shorey is very impressive. Parvin Dabbas did his job well. Other characters Tara Sharma (Cherry’s girlfriend Meghna) was good and rest of the actors too did their job well.

Music: Nothing great about the music, the song Chak de Phattey was good.

So overall, the movie was fantastic and is a must watch. I would give it 3.5 stars out of 5. Again like other movies released today, this might not do well for the masses but it can be a hit movie. Word of mouth publicity can be the savior.
