Veeralipattu Malayalam Movie

Narayanan Nair (Jagathy Sreekumar) is the elder in the most prestigious Nair family in the village. His son is Kesavan Nair (Murali) and grandson Hari (Prithviraj). The family has held pride of place in the village for several generations. Hari was very close to his father but at a particular point of time they fall out with each other. Hari who is a software engineer leaves for Chennai.

While in Chennai Hari meets Pooja who hails from a very well-to-do family. The two fall in love. Hari returns home after a couple of years to meet his parents. Close on his heels comes Pooja. Her arrival in the family creates an upheaval, but she becomes instrumental in making father and son see eye to eye.

Veeralipattu is the second directorial venture by Kuku Surendran. The film is being produced by his elder brother Sunil Surendran. Manoj Pillai who wields the camera is a close relative of theirs. The film is being shot in Vadakkancherry and Alathur areas of Palakkad district.
