Storyline - Arush (Akshay Kumar), Tanmay (Ritesh Deshmukh) and Al (Fardeen Khan) are bachelors who share a house and are enjoying life to the T. They live a carefree life not worrying about others feelings and emotions. They are womanizers who prefer one night stands, have their share of fun and move on. This is disrupted when a baby arrives at their doorstep with a note which indicates that this baby is the result of one of these men's affair.

The men who were seen around with a new girl every other day get real fuzzy with dipers and baby food. But Angel works her charm and before long, the three lecherous bachelors have been transformed into loving, caring fathers. From womanizers to caring father, they realize they have come a long way. Just then Esha (Vidya Balan) enters...

Sajid Khan has proved himself to be a very competent director in his first directorial venture. His direction is top-notch. Comedy scenes cheer you up and tickle your bones while the emotional scenes with the baby girl strike your heart. The first 45 mins in the first half along with the first 30 mins in the second half hold the movie together. Also the expressions of the baby have been captured excellently well.

The entertainer sure has its share of glitches. The hospital scene when the baby is given treatment has a very unrealistic feel to it. Also the pace tends to dip in the later part of the first half. The Background score is good. Music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is easy on the ear.

Performances - Akshay Kumar is exceptional. As always his comic timing is just perfect. Fardeen Khan has improved a lot in his expressions and dialogue delivery. Ritesh Deshmukh is first-rate and is equally competent to Akshay Kumar. Vidya Balan is admirable but she hams in a few emotional scenes. The baby is loveable.

Overall, Heyy Babyy is a fun movie that should appeal to the teenagers. At the box office, the movie has opened big. We could well expect the business to be on par with Partner.
