Rahul Rawail has managed to rope in an excellent star cast. Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Anupam Kher and Ranvir Shorey. To add to its attraction the film also stars hot-after Big Boss Rakhi Sawant known for her boldness. You don't need more reasons to watch the movie do you?

Buddha Mar Gaya directed by Rahul Rawail is an outlandish comedy. The story revolves around a family of a business tycoon, a construction mogul Laxmikant Kabdiya (Anupam Kher) otherwise called LK. His soul parts ways with his body while he is in bed with a struggling actress who was aspiring to star (Rakhi Sawant) in a movie produced by him. His family is both happy and sad with his demise. His death leads to their inheritance of the property, which calls for celebration. The cause of their sadness was that Rs. 5000 crore worth IPO, which was up for grabs, could go midway if his death was announced publicly. They turn over to their family guru Vidyuth Baba (Om Puri) for advice. But his advice comes with a huge price of difficulties and troubles. Watch the movie to find the difficulties faced by the family. But watch it at your own risk. You might go mad watching this!

With such a strong star cast, you expect nothing less than brilliant comic timing - Hilarious scenes, which tickle your funny bone. In short you expect a Laugh Riot. Unfortunately, this movie makes you cry. It makes you cry for spending those hard-earned bucks on such a pathetic movie. It makes you feel sorry for the veteran actors who are trying their best to save a below average product.

Rahul Rawail (the director) has failed. Neither the story is convincing nor the execution. The script is bizarre. The dialogues are pathetic.

Anupam Kher, although his role covers 80% of the movie, he just has to maintain a straight face, that of a dead man. He has enacted the role of a corpse well. Paresh Rawal could have been given a better role. His fans are going to be disappointed. Om Puri as the bisexual baba does well. Rakhi Sawant is given the role that suits her perfect. She wears lesser clothes than she usually does!

Overall Budhha Mar Gaya is the worst comedy flick of the year!
