Aggar Hindi Movie

Janvi (Udita Goswami) is a woman whose life seems perfect on the surface. She runs a business, is married to a psychiatrist Dr Adi Merchant (Shreyas Talpade). Enter Aryan (Tusshar Kapoor) who joins Janvi's company. She gets drawn towards Aryan. Soon with a twist of events she realizes her fault and tries to break off the illicit affair. Aryan isn't willing to give her up and the crush soon turns into a dangerous obsession. How will Janvi handle the recent turn of events forms the rest of the tale.

Director Ananth Mahadevan (Aksar) is in form after the recent debacle, Victoria No 203. His execution is perfect in the first half. While the second half drags a bit initially, picks up only to finally end abruptly. The plot is brilliant too, which revolves around Passion, Betrayal and Terror! Aggar is unpredictability at its best. The sequences have been writing and executed in a way which catches the viewers by surprise. The music by Mithoon is disappointing. Cinematography (Rajkumar) is excellent.

Performances by the lead actors are topnotch. Unexpected but, Tusshar Kapoor is brilliant. Udita Goswani in a role which demands histrionics, delivers. Shreyas Talpade is as usual, great! The rest of the supporting cast which comprises of Sophie Chaudhary, Saadhika, Nauheed Cyrusi is decent.

To sum things up, Ananth Mahadevan's Aggar is good movie. Worth a watch in theatre.
