One Two Three is clumsily packed cheesy comedy flick. Not recommended!

One Two Three is directed by debutant director Ashwani Dheer and produced by Kumar Mangat. It stars Upen patel and Tanisha as the romantic pair amongst an ensemble cast which includes Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, Tusshar Kapoor, Esha Deol and Sameera Reddy. With all its pawns in the right place, does Ashwani Dheer succeed in tickling our funny bones? Or is it just another cheesy comedy? Read on…

First let me introduce you to the story…

Diamonds worth 20 Crores are stolen from a dangerous don, Papa (Mukesh Tiwari) and the precious stones accidentally fall in the hands of young love birds - Chandu (Upen Patel) and Chandni (Tanisha), who quickly hide them in a car.

While the don and his henchmen are busy hunting for the diamonds, the hot-headed police officer Mayavati Chautala (Neetu Chandra) is on the prowl looking for offenders of any kind.

Enter the three main characters…

The first Laxmi Narayan (Tusshar Kapoor) belongs to a mafia family and is desperately looking for his big break to enter the family business. His mother gets him a chance to redeem his earlier failures and settle down in life as a gunda.

A loveable geek, a post graduate degree holder is our second Laxmi Narayan (Suniel Shetty).

And our third Laxmi Narayan (Paresh Rawal) is a hawker who has made so much money selling underwear on the footpath that he has set up a lingerie factory for his son.

Three Laxmi Narayans end up reaching Hotel Blue Diamond, Pondicherry for their respective assignments. They wait at the same time for their messages at the hotel's reception desk. The envelopes meant for each other goes to the wrong person.

Meanwhile, Chandu and Chandni are determined to stop anybody from buying the car where they have hidden the diamonds.

This leads to great confusion and hungama? What happens to whom and who ends up where? Forms the rest part of the movie.

Debutant director Ashwani Dheer has executed a few scenes quite well but fails on a larger scale. The movie rests on a wafer thin plot line and after a point gets monotonous to sit through. The movie is nothing but a slipshod placement of silly jokes in a senseless plot. A few sequences are funny but that's about it. If only the script was tighter and the sequences well arranged (screenplay), the movie would have been a better entertainer.

The movie is a big disappointment overall. The direction and screenplay are mediocre. Dialogues are witty at times but gets repetitive. Music is bad.

Performance wise supporting actor Sanjay Mishra stands out. He is the one who actually manages to make you laugh with his great comic timing and excellent dialogue delivery. Suniel Shetty is next on the rank with his good performance. Paresh Rawal is nothing unusual. He manages to pull his act very well. Tusshar Kapoor hams big time. He needs to work on his dialogue delivery and expressions. Upen Patel is an exasperation.

The ladies are just ok in their performances.

Sameera Reddy is satisfactory. Esha Deol is bad and needs acting lessons. Tanisha hams completely. Neetu Chandra is displeasure. The rest of the cast are reasonably good.

Overall, One Two Three is clumsily packed cheesy comedy flick. Not recommended!
