Love stories have always been accorded a warm welcome in Tamil Nadu. Here comes another love-story in 'Karthik Anitha', directed by Srihari, a debutant. Srihari was earlier working along with Sundar C.

'Karthik Anitha', produced under the banner of King Magic, has a totally urban setting and is tagged 'a neighbourhood love-story'. The hero and the heroine live in an apartment complex and the film focuses on how love develops between them and what all happens then on. Lots of things that concern urban life and lifestyle are being discussed in the film and it also discusses the issue of relationship from an urban angle. Rathan, a debutant, plays the hero while Manju, hailing from Kerala, is the heroine.

The highlight of 'Karthik Anitha', targeted at the youth, is that it's a clean film, with no space for double meaning dialogues, obscenities etc. The film will be reaching the theatres shortly.
