Prayanam is squeaky-clean entertainment and for those that believe in true love and love at first sight this is the movie of the summer.

One never knows what's going to happen in the next two hours. Anything is possible even in the next 15 minutes. There is something called "love at first sight" and love can happen anywhere. These are the themes on which the movie Prayanam is based. Believers in these types of thoughts will definitely be transported in to a dreamland watching Prayanam. Others will find the movie extremely enjoyable too.

Based on a love story that happens in an airport, the movie is nearly flawless in direction. It is difficult to sustain attention and keep the audience riveted when the plot moves slowly and there is not much of a story. There was every chance that the movie would have become a drag without any fight, any flashback, and any duet song. But the director and the actors have done a magnificent job.

The director and actors have paid attention to every detail and made the movie look as real as possible. It has an unmistakable aura of make belief and feel good. A brilliant idea has got right support from the actors and the result is beautiful.

Manchu Manoj Kumar and Harika have acted really well in the lead roles. Even the supporting artists have worked hard at performing in a relaxed manner.

While the love story meanders through twists and turns, the comedy track runs smoothly, thanks to Brahmanandam. But it is a little sad that rank new comers and junior artists get away with treating Brahmanandam shabbily in the movies. Wish directors and storywriters would keep the stature of Brahmanandam in mind.

Prayanam is squeaky-clean entertainment and for those that believe in true love and love at first sight this is the movie of the summer.
