Nandhini JS debut film, 'Thiru thiru thuru thuru,' a romantic comedy is a good mix of humour and thrill sans crude jokes.

Arjun (Ajmal) and Archana (Rupa Manjari) work in an ad agency managed by Srinivasan (Mouli). An important assignment finds them working together. However for the commercial's photo shoot, the selected baby model falls sick.

As time runs out, the duo frantically try to find another baby to fill in. And in the most unlikely of situations, Arjun finds himself left with holding a baby. Although, he presents the baby as the model for the project, the cute one sets in rolling a quagmire of problems. To begin with, the baby's mother abandons her and she becomes Arjun's responsibility.

Archana offers to help him take care of the baby until her parents are traced. But the two are diametrically opposite in nature. While Archana is organized, punctual, and truthful and a cleanliness freak, Arjun is a happy go lucky person, who can lie with a straight face and is thoroughly disorganized.

So what keeps them together? And who are the real parents of the baby? That is the essence of T4. A simple story told crisply and realistically. There is never a dull moment in the first half of the story. Only sticking out like a sore thumb is the scene of the old woman in her ghostly house in the second half. The romance that grows between the two protagonists is not the mushy kind; you feel it in the vibes around.

Ajmal and Rupa carry the film on their shoulders ably supported by Mouli. Rupa's fresh face is appealing. Ajmal's expressions as the carefree bachelor are cute, so different from his character in Anjathe. Mouli as the boss who never remembers the names of his staff delivers his dialogues in a cool manner often eliciting chuckles among the viewers. Lakshmi Ramakrishnan in the role of his wife does a neat job. You get the feeling you have met this character somewhere.

Mani Sharma's songs are peppy. Nandhin's script and dialogues are the strength of the film. Of course baby Darshan steals everyone's hearts. Even after the film is over, the chuckles are heard as the audience leaves the hall, their grin in place.

Thiru thiru thuru thuru is clean entertainment, ushering in a freshness hitherto not seen in Kollywood. Do watch it with the family.
